The natural progression of any spiritual journey takes you to a higher plane. DJ, Producer, Songwriter, Remixer, and label owner Mark Picchiotti pilots that plane.

Mark's "fuel" is his symbiotic relationship with the decks, now hitting the 20 year mark. During that time, he has held residencies at many of Chicago's hottest clubs like MEDUSA'S, SMART BAR, FUSION/VORTEX, CROBAR, SHELTER, BERLIN and SOUNDBAR, and has played at legendary, world-renown venues like HEAVEN, MINISTRY OF SOUND, STEREO, EL DIVINO & PASHA. Additionally, Mark is a 4 time veteran of Chicago's largest Circuit event Fireball. He is the founding DJ of the legendary Fire Island house party, "More, More, More." His solid DJ reputation was highlighted with a request by Janet Jackson to DJ her JANET album launch party.

Mark's astute DJing credo has always been "…if you're in it for yourself then the audience loses and if you're in it for the audience then you lose you constantly have to check the pulse of the dancefloor and enjoy the challenge of pushing and pleasing it."

Mark's remixes and productions receive continued support from DJs worldwide including Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seaman, Peter Rauhofer, Ralphi Rosario and Victor Calderone just to name a few.

Mark was recently nominated as one of the 40 MOST Influential Remixes of all time (Blues & Soul Mag. UK). His remix discography reads like a who's who of international pop superstardom including Madonna, Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias, New Order, Erasure, Jamiroquai, Shapeshifters and Club 69 among others.

Mark produced and co-wrote the song "Give it to me" from Kylie Minogue's 8x Platinum FEVER album, and produced the song "Butterfly" from the LIGHT YEARS album. Additionally, he is responsible for producing and writing the UK top 10 pop hit "Runnin'" by Basstoy, and Mark is the mastermind behind gospel house act The Absolute featuring Suzanne Palmer. This man has e-x-p-e-r-i-e-n-c-e!

After spending nearly 6 months building a new studio, Mark is now back with several new productions including, Basstoy "Turn It Up", The Absolute feat. Suzanne Palmer "There Will Come a Day" and "I Believe", Katherine Ellis "Mamma's Dirty Little Baby" Sybil "As a Child", Blueplate Allstars "Be Your Lady" and new Master & Muse' "Well Alright" all being released on Mark's imprint, Blueplate Records in the US and various other labels worldwide.

Until cloning is perfected, Mark's DJing energy will continue to devote time to his many loves, though DJing is, and always will be, his first. By blending various styles of the most current sounds in dance, he weaves together a musical journey not to be missed!
